Old Age Home: It's a place where old people can spend their whole life without any hard-work or physical stress. Those people, who never got married, have none to take care of them! Those people, whose children staying out-side for job, have none to look after them!! Some of them unfortunately have faced worst situations in the life & have no chance other than choosing an Old-Home for staying!!! Who knows what's coming next. We, with the blessings of Thakur Sri Sri Bhajan Bramhachari Baba, spread our helping hand to them for taking their daily life responsibilities (like Food-Lodging-Electricity-Water etc.) at a minimum cost.
All Glory To Sri Sri Bhajan Bramhachari Baba, founder of Guru-Ganga and who is the inspiration of every work. Guru-Ganga of Dakshineswar is the house of Late Sibarani Devi (disciple of Thakur Sri Sri Bhajan Bramhachari Baba). Sri Sukumar Bhattacharjee and Smt Pratima Bhattacharjee (both are the disciples of Thakur Sri Sri Bhajan Bramhachari Baba) are now managing the good works of Bhajan Baba in reality. Previously the house of Late Sibarani Devi and her son Sri Sukumar Bhattacharjee had the name 'Shiba Dham', the name 'Guru Ganga' was given by Thakur Sri Sri Bhajan Bramhachari Baba and the name 'Guru-Ganga' was selected by Thakur because Disciples and Devotees will see their Guru after taking a holy bath in River Ganga. It means, the religious place Guru-Ganga, which is located near to Ganga of Dakshineswar in Kolkata has full of spiritual blessings. Sri Sukumar Bhattacharjee and Smt Pratima Bhattacharjee has started an Old Age Home in Dakshineswar, North Kolkata named 'Sri Lokenath Bridhyasram' at Guru-Ganga premises in the year 1997. Establishment of an Old Age Home for helping needy peoples without any professional or profit intention was one of the thoughts of Thakur Sri Sri Bhajan Bramhachari Baba.
